Ruby Bridges is 68. This is not ancient history. Not even close.
I know Ruby. She's a really nice person. The idea that they would try and write what she did as a girl out of history is shocking to me on so many levels, the simplest of which is just, but don't they know how lovely she is?
“ugh stop being excited about the barbie movie you know it’s just a 2hr advertisement” yeah bitch so was the lego movie?? the mario bros movie??? the sonic movie??? every transformers??? every mcu film??? gee golly gosh what’s different about this movie than all those others
i wanna date someone and live with them in a shitty apartment but be happy about it because we are happy together and we can decorate it with stupid dorky posters of shit we like and figurines and art and we can cook weird recipes we found on the internet and eat them and watch cartoons even if the food is gross because we made it and we’re perfect
not to abduct and reroute this very old post but i reblogged this almost 9 years ago and tagged my gf in it while we were still long distance, and now we have a house together so like. keep going, y’all
Being on this website is fun because you can absolutely tell when a blorbo clicks in someone's brain. You're scrolling, and suddenly out of nowhere there's like 12 posts about the same character back to back reposted by the same person, and you just know "oh. They're a permanent part of their psyche now." and honestly it's a vibe go off king
phineas and ferb really said “how many characters can we make autistic” and the answer was “yes”
phineas and ferb has all the flavors of autism
Especially the platypus
The fandom even headcanon human Perry to be selective-mute/non-verbal which is awesome
apparently no one was paying attention in middle school language arts when we learned what a fucking protagonist was
#while we’re at it the author is not the narrator or the protagonist either
